Waking up every morning with panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks of the Andes, breathing in the fresh air filled with the fragrance of the flowers in our gardens.

What I like most about our team is their genuine commitment. Each member, in their role, strives to offer an authentic, personalized, and warm experience. We support each other and understand that every detail—a smile, a conversation, a well-served meal—can make a difference for those who visit us.

What has been your biggest challenge and how have you overcome it?
My biggest challenge has been keeping the hacienda going amidst multiple difficulties. Since we opened, I've had to rebuild the business at least five times, facing climatic, logistical, and personal challenges. The constant threats from the Cotopaxi volcano, interruptions due to weather or closed roads, and crises like the pandemic have tested our resilience. I have overcome it with perseverance, adaptability, and a lot of love for this project. I bet on maintaining quality, strengthening the bond with our guests, and trusting in a committed team. Every time we've fallen, we've gotten back up stronger.

How has Tab helped your business? What was life like before using Tab and what has changed since then?
Tab has been a key tool to facilitate payments from our international guests. Before, many travellers had difficulties making payments from abroad or didn't want to bring cash. That caused delays, cancellations, or logistical complications. Since we started using Tab, everything is simpler and more professional. We can securely charge deposits, offer payment links from anywhere in the world, and give the client confidence from the first contact. Moreover, it's noticeable that it is designed for small hotels like ours, with personalized attention and without complicated processes.
